DESCRIPTION:PHYSICAL THEATRE LAB\nCome play this May!\nDiscover the world of Viewpoints—a powerful method for improvisation and composition in contemporary theatre.\nThrough movement\, space\, time\, and ensemble awareness\, this workshop invites you to explore new ways of creating and connecting on stage.\nMarjolayne Auger\, director of Amrumi and recently relocated to Halifax\, is hosting open theatre lab sessions throughout May.\nThese sessions offer a space for theatre lovers to meet\, train\, and create together. \nWhat to expect:
• Movement and voice training
• Introduction to the Viewpoints technique (improvisation and composition)

DESCRIPTION:Tango Lab I/ Basics = 6:30-7:45 pm for new and continuing beginners.  Emphasis on rhythmic walks\, corner turns and minding the mood.\nTango Lab II for Int/Advanced =  7- 8:30 pm for experienced dancers. Dynamically explore musical options\, challenge habitual step patterns\, and share new discoveries! \nYes\, class times overlap! The intention is for experienced dancers to provide inspiration and guidance warming up with beginners who are just learning about musicality. Then\, after beginners depart\, the remaining time will be exclusively devoted to discovering how this same musicality will transform your more challenging combinations. Be part of a focused learning environment in which to explore the tempos and feeling tones unique to Argentine tango! \nProgram runs from May 6th – June 10th \nEVENT PRICING:  per person/6 week/$90 or 5 week = $75/ 4 weeks $65.
