Dance Nova Scotia Welcomes New Dance Week Coordinator
Dance Nova Scotia is extremely excited to welcome Nathaniel Dooks to the DANS family as our new Dance Week Coordinator. Nat brings with him experience, enthusiasm, and a long standing community connection with dance in Nova Scotia. Nat already has a long list of truly exciting ideas for Dance Week 2024 that will the dance communities across Nova Scotia buzzing!
“Nathaniel “Natorious” Dooks has been teaching, competing, and performing Breaking for over 10 years. He is the first male dancer from the Atlantic provinces to compete for a spot on the Canadian Olympic breaking team, and is currently ranked 5th in Canada. A staple of the Atlantic hip hop community he’s performed for “The Woods professional hip hop company,” “DJ Jazzy Jeff,” and “The Halluci Nation.” He is ecstatic to bring his love of dance and community to Nova Scotia Dance week.
