Each year Dance Nova Scotia sets out to find our next inspiring Ambassador/s for International Dance Day and Nova Scotia Dance Week and once again we are looking to the NS dance community for YOUR nominations.

Do you know someone making an impact and inspiring others in your local dance community? Now’s your chance to put them in the spotlight! We’re looking for your nominations for the next great Nova Scotia Dance Week and International Dance Day Ambassador!

Dance Ambassadors become the face of our Dance Day and Dance Week promotions and activities. Ambassadors can be:

• any age
• any ability
• any discipline
• from any Nova Scotia community

Through their stories and experiences, and their love of dance, our Ambassadors will help us to excite our province in the love of dance as we head towards Dance Day and Dance Week on April 29.

Dance Ambassadors decide how they would like to participate. Some of the ways a Dance Ambassador could get involved in Dance Day and Dance Week include:

> Participating in video and/or social media promotions

> Sharing their experiences in dance via interviews, social posts, and blog articles

> Take part in Dance Day/Week events

> Take part in Dance Day/Week panel discussions

> Organize or host an event for Dance Day/Week

> Engage with communities, encouraging them to support and become involved in Dance Day/Week
