NOVA STARS is a new, beginner-friendly dance festival happening on June 1, 2025, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It offers an inclusive and supportive stage for dancers of all levels and styles—especially welcoming first-time performers and young beginners.  HIGHLIGHTS Non-competitive format: all entries receive gold, silver, or bronze recognition Open to all styles, ages, and skill levels Affordable entry fees

The Maritime Fiddle Festival, July 4-5, 2025, would like to invite step dancers of all ages to compete in the festival. There is no entry fee, and the dance events, both preliminary and finals, will be held Saturday, July 5th.    Check festival website for details closer to the date.
